Hundreds of dive sites, marked with a yellow stone, crystal clear waters, encounters with the wonderful tropical underwater world: turtles, dolphins, baracudas, tiny shrimps, amazing coral formations........ its all there within easy diving. The coral reefs around Bonaire are protected and divers from all over the world visit Bonaire to see nature at its best. Besides shore diving, very professional dive operators offer boat and night dives, even a dive service to the wild 'east coast' is available. On the Hamlet Oasis resort is the dive service of 'Dive Friends Bonaire', a high quality dive operator with services on several places on Bonaire. No dive license? Snorkeling

Explore snorkeling the breathtaking reefs, face to face with the most beautiful and colorful fish. For those who don't want to dive it is a nice alternative. There are several possibilities: make a snorkel trip by boat, visit the many snorkel places along the coast where you can enter the water anywhere you want (if you have your own snorkel gear), or take the water taxi to Klein Bonaire, where there are many outstanding snorkel areas. Feel free to ask for more information

WaterSports

If you like waters sports, there's boat rentals, parasailing, water-skiing, windsurfing or kayaking. At Lac Bay it's great windsurfing, and you can also do the mangroves by kayak. Swimming can be done everywhere, at all the beaches, except at the north coast of the Island, where the sea is to rough to swim.

Nature

Bonaire has some great nature to offer you. You could go out to the National Park Washington Slagbaai, a unique natural area where you can admire Flamingo's, Iguana's and more flora and fauna. There's a long or short tour. (Scooters may not enter the park). Entrance is not free. At the other side of the island is the rough sea, where the high waves are smashed on the rocks. If you go there, remember there are lots of unpaved small roads. Furthermore to visit is the flamingo sanctuary and the Solar Salt Works, Donkey sanctuary, Lac Cai with its shell hills and many other places to visit, Ask for more information.
